The London Office of Joffe & Associ\u00e9s was created in 2013. It offers legal services in English law with a particular focus on commercial transactional matters, litigation and arbitration and works closely with its main office in France on cross border matters.<\/p>\n

Its team of solicitors, bilingual and dually qualified, provides English law advice and legal strategy tailored by its full understanding of its clients\u2019 civil law jurisdiction. It advises regularly French companies but also African, Canadian, Belgian, Luxembourg, Monegasques and Swiss companies on transactions and issues subject to the laws of England and Wales<\/p>\n

The London office advises companies and high net worth individuals on commercial, corporate, intellectual property, IT, contracts, employment, data protection and Brexit issues.<\/p>\n

The London office represents its clients in a wide range of litigations, from high profile cases before the High Court of England and Wales to more common disputes before various courts.<\/p>\n

The firm also represents its clients in alternative dispute resolutions and handles complex international arbitrations, including commercial and investor-state disputes, in particular under the LCIA, ICC, UNCITRAL and ICSID arbitration rules, in various international contexts.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Joffe & Associ\u00e9s is also present in Los Angeles since 2021 through a partnership with Pavlos Petrovas, qualified with the Los Angeles, New York and Paris bars.<\/p>\n

The Los Angeles office offers legal services in U.S. law, more specifically in the context of investments by small, medium, and large French, American, and international companies pursuing their business in the United States. The team also assists French and international companies in setting up their operations in the United States. Finally, the LA office assists its clients for any disputes\/litigations in the United States.<\/p>\n

Shanghai<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

After the United Kingdom (London) and the United States (Los Angeles), Joffe & Associ\u00e9s continues its international expansion by establishing a presence in China.<\/p>\n

Since 2024, the firm has relied on Me Alban Renaud, a lawyer admitted to the Paris Bar and a registered foreign lawyer with the Ministry of Justice in China, as well as the multidisciplinary teams and resources he has at his disposal in Shanghai and Beijing, to support its clients with all their projects related to China.<\/p>\n

With this new establishment, Joffe & Associ\u00e9s strengthens its ability to offer a comprehensive range of integrated services in business law (corporate, M&A, commercial contracts, intellectual property, IT\/data, competition law, public business law, labor law, tax law, litigation and arbitration, real estate).<\/p>\n
