Juno, a company that launched a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution for managing industrial operations in January 2023, recently announced an initial fundraising round of \u20ac3 million on July 4. The round was made possible by the participation of Bpifrance, MAIF Avenir, OSS Ventures and several business angels from the industrial sector. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The company, which publishes industrial operations management software that collects production data, aims to add analytics features to its platform. To that end, it raised around \u20ac2 million in its seed round, with notable participation from MAIF Avenir and Bpifrance, which invested through their Digital Venture vehicle. Two business angels specializing in the industrial sector, including Benjamin Gauchenot (of Eolane France), as well as OSS Ventures, a startup studio that co-founded the company with Reda Ouafi and Thibaud Godillot in early 2022, also took part in the round.<\/p>\n

In addition, a further \u20ac1 million loan was taken out, bringing total financing to \u20ac3 million. In August, the young company had already completed an informal fundraising of a few hundred thousand euros from friends and family (“love money”). Joffe & Associ\u00e9s<\/a> (Thomas Saltiel<\/a>, Charlotte Viandaz<\/a> and Mathilde Vasseur<\/a>) advised the investors on the transaction.<\/p>\n

Juno’s solution is designed specifically for supervising industrial operations and can be deployed in just two months. It replaces processes based on paper documents or Excel files. The solution is widely used in the pharmaceutical and food processing sectors. Concretely, it offers features such as managing the creation and sharing of documents, approval workflows, real-time data collection and analysis, and performance measurement.<\/p>\n

Juno has deployed its solution with large French and Swiss multinationals. With a team of twelve employees, the company generated revenue of \u20ac300,000 in 2022. Beyond the pharmaceutical and food processing sectors, Juno’s software is also attracting interest from the aerospace and automotive industries. The company plans a gradual international expansion, targeting in particular the American, African and European subsidiaries of its existing clients. In this market, Juno faces a notable competitor, Dizisoft, which was acquired in February by Fives.<\/p>\n
