Lisam Systems is making its second acquisition, barely more than a year after Keensight came on board as a minority shareholder. The deal involves EcoMundo, a French publisher of compliance management software for the transport of chemical products, which is also a competitor in the chemicals field and has particular expertise in cosmetic products.<\/p>\n

Gr\u00e9gory Agez, partner at Keensight Capital, explains: “This is a company we had spotted and approached proactively in early 2022, even before our transaction with Lisam was finalized, during the due diligence phase.” The negotiation process was nevertheless entrusted to Mazars CF by the seller.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The founder of the target company, Pierre Gar\u00e7on, is stepping down from his duties, while the executives, including Chief Technical Officer Jean-Raphael Miron, who has been there since the company’s creation in 2007, remain in their positions and continue to lead a team of 80 people. The financial details of this transaction, carried out by a company that expects to generate revenue of more than \u20ac10 million this year, were not disclosed. The company’s software is used to comply with more than 100 international regulations and is adopted by more than 650 customers, ranging from large multinationals to SMEs and start-ups, spread across more than 50 countries.<\/p>\n

Lisam Systems expects to reach revenue of approximately \u20ac50 million in 2023. Earlier this year, the company also acquired SDSpro, a US competitor generating \u20ac1.3 million in revenue with ten employees. In total, Lisam Systems has more than 2,000 client companies, a local presence in 22 countries, and its software solutions provide safety data sheets in more than 56 languages for 42 different regions.<\/p>\n
