JOFFE & ASSOCIÉS APPOINTS AMANDA DUBARRY AS COUNSEL IN THE TECH-DIGITAL-DATA TEAM

Joffe & Associés announces the appointment of Amanda Dubarry as Counsel in the Tech-Digital-Data team, led by Emilie de Vaucresson.

 

Member of the Paris Bar since 2017, Amanda advises large corporations, SMEs and start-ups on technology and data law, particularly in the fintech, e-health and adtech sectors.

 

Amanda structures GDPR compliance for innovative projects, negotiates IT contracts, acts as an outsourced DPO, and leads the handling of data breaches and cybersecurity incidents. She also advises clients on their AI projects and on the new European digital regulations (AI Act, DSA, Data Act).

 

In litigation, Amanda represents clients before commercial, civil and criminal courts in highly technical disputes relating to technology and innovative projects, as well as in the context of CNIL investigations. She also handles e-reputation and press law matters.

 

After five years at a firm recognized for its expertise in new technologies law, Amanda joined Joffe & Associés in March 2022 and has contributed to the growth of the Tech-Digital-Data practice. She has also completed several secondments within the legal departments of leading international groups, reflecting her commitment to combining legal expertise with a thorough understanding of operational and business challenges.

 

Before becoming a lawyer, Amanda began her career as an analyst in the business intelligence department of an international security and risk management company. This early experience enables her today to factor reputational, strategic and geopolitical issues into her cases.

 

Member of Avocats sans frontières, she trained Nigerian judges and lawyers in European law on data, platforms and freedom of expression as part of the « e-RIGHTS » programme.
