JOFFE & ASSOCIÉS ADVISES CASHBEE ON ITS COMBINATION WITH MIF

Joffe & Associés advised Cashbee, a digital savings and investment platform, on the acquisition of an 85% stake in its capital by MIF (Mutuelle d’Ivry – La Fraternelle), a mutual life insurer.

Founded in 2018, Cashbee is a French wealth-tech company that supports its clients in their savings and investment strategies, notably through life insurance contracts with 100% SRI (socially responsible investment) profiles.

Established in 1865, MIF is a mutual insurance company offering simple, accessible and effective savings and protection products, enabling each member to easily manage their savings and all of their transactions.

MIF initially joined Cashbee’s capital in 2024 as a minority shareholder with a 21% stake, in order to build a commercial partnership around retirement savings plans (PER). This collaboration notably allowed MIF to benefit from a growing flow of clients, attracted by Cashbee’s digital channel, opening or transferring their PER with MIF.

With this new transaction, MIF now becomes Cashbee’s majority shareholder.

It marks a new stage in the partnership begun two years ago, and aims to accelerate Cashbee’s growth while consolidating MIF’s ambitions in savings and wealth management.

The transaction consists of a €3 million capital injection and the buyout of minority shareholders’ stakes. It should enable Cashbee to step up its development and thereby significantly increase the digital acquisition of new mass-affluent clients.

For this transaction, the Joffe & Associés team was made up of Thomas Saltiel, partner, and Rudy Diamant, associate.
